| Useful hints and tips on searching |
|
There is no need to type street, road, lane or your house
number when completing a search. |
|
|
Typing in the first few letters of your road may bring
up more entries than typing it in full. This could result
in a more successful search. |
|
|
Please take care to look for your exact house number
from the results. |
| |
The entries are arranged according to the electoral register.
Usually odd and even house numbers are listed separately.
Therefore, 112-152 includes all the even numbers for the
street and 111-151 includes only the odd numbers. It is
not uncommon for someone living over the road from you
to belong to a completely different ward. |
| |
Long streets and roads can also be divided up into different
wards. For example numbers 1-50 could belong to ward A
and numbers 52-100 to ward B. |
|
|
If you do not have a house number then your house will
be included in the NAMES section of the list. Unfortunately,
these are not included in this database. If there is confusion
about which ward you belong to then please contact the
electoral registration department. Contact details are
listed on the right. |
